If you keep up on your gossip just like I do then you have seen Hollywood’s latest and greatest accessory, miniature dogs. These animals are small enough to keep in your bag and take around with you everywhere you go. They are cute, cuddly, and fun to be with. Hollywood’s famous such as Paris Hilton and Brittney Spears all carry around these cute and adorable pets.
Even though they are together most of the day with their animals, they still need to find a great place to sleep. Design as take a liking to catering to the rich and famous and the industry has started booming. This is a huge trend which has affected almost all dog owners and their pet so much that even poodles have bikini bathing suits.
You can easily find high priced dog beds that run anywhere from a few hundred dollars to a few thousand. Even though these prices are way too steep for regular people like you and me the simple fact that this is driving change is what interests me most. What I mean by this is that as companies compete to design and wow all the rich and famous with their designs, all that trickles down to you and me. And each dog bed can be customized to fit your style and decor taste and esthetic.
As designs become more and more famous there are companies who feel the need to make more money and so they take it into their hands to create replica designs of these great high priced designs and market them particularly to people who can actually afford them. This is a great idea because you don’t have to see yourself paying thousands of dollars for a high priced expensive bed but you can still get that great design at a much discounted price.
There are those that think knockoffs are not worth the material they are made of but think about this for a second. What exactly are you buying here? Are you buying something that your dog will be sleeping on, the same dog that runs outside and through the mud, the same dog that rolls around outside and then goes back inside and hopefully into his bed. You do you really see yourself spending thousands of dollars on a designer dog bed only to have it become muddy and dirty and torn to shreds by your favorite pet. I don’t think you do so in that light buying a knockoff that comes with a great design and great flair for the fraction of the price is the smartest idea as well as a great investment for the life of your pet.
This small example is the perfect illustration to demonstrate how being price conscious and paying for a dog bed with a great design doesn’t need to come with a steep price. There are many companies that do these same designs and all it would take is a quick stroll through the World Wide Web.
