Some people start playing World of Warcraft because they like the magic. But a lot of, not to say most, people play it because of the violence. Killing everything that stands in their way, running across the land trying to upgrade armor and weaponry or even selling stuff for money. Going for the kill
As a melee class the warrior is very popular, it can inflict or take a lot of damage. If you like performing magic then don t choose to be a warrior because that s one of the things the warrior can t do. The warrior has a few melee attacks and instead of using manna it uses rage to help with these talents. When the warrior works in a group it can act as a decoy by becoming the target of the enemy and this way making sure the other members of the group don t get to much damage. If a warrior knows how to distribute skill points and has the right weapons, another good use of a warrior in a group is inflicting damage to the enemy of the party he or she travels with.
When you want to become a warrior in World of Warcraft you have the choice between a lot of races. Some of these races are humans, night elves, dwarfs, trolls and gnomes. A popular race for warriors is the human race, the knight being the elite warrior. In Horde races the warrior is also a popular choice because it has the ability to inflict damage in a quick and effortless way. This is a situation a lot of violence minded creatures are looking for.
There are three categories we can split the talents of a World of Warcraft warrior in, these are fury, arms and protection. With arms we mean either offensive capabilities of weapons. When a World of Warcraft warrior is high in arms talents a two handed weapon is preferred for better top end damage. Also offensive are fury talents although they are more the finesse behind brute strength. Because every warrior needs some defense to help with the offensive part there is the protection talent, with this the warrior can handle a shield.
Then there are the different stances a World of Warcraft warrior can choose from. You can choose between the battle, defensive or the berserker stance. The standard for warriors is the battle stance, it balances between offensive and defensive. When the World of Warcraft warrior chooses the berserker stance he or she will attack without much regard for their own life.
Make sure that when you start playing World of Warcraft you pick the right character, if your into hacking and slashing then the warrior is the best choice for you.
