After a decade or so of sleeping, the legend of Indiana Jones is revived with the release of the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull this summer. For most who remember Indiana Jones it brought back memories of the adventurer who always manages to get on top of things. He isn’t a super hero or invincible, he’s a regular guy who takes spills and falls with resulting aches and pains to show for it which makes him one of the most influential movie characters of all time. No wonder the fedora, the hat he wears, suddenly swings into the spotlight once again not only for men but also for some of Hollywood’s hottest women. Throw in those tight pants and you can call it the 80’s once again as we salute one of pop cultures idol for adventure!
Summer is here and so is the pending release of the Incredible Hulk 2, where mild mannered scientist Bruce Banner is desperate to find a cure for his radiation sickness that turns him into the Hulk, the green super human that is capable of incredible feats. The comic character turned action movie is, like most sci fi films heavily reliant on CG rendering where most of the special effects and action takes place. It remains to be seen if the green superheroes rises to the occasion and continues to evade his archenemies General Thunderbolt Ross and a new enemy with equally great strength The Abomination.
She is considered a rebel by most (even by her dad whom she hates) due to her hard lines roles in the movies but she falls for Brad and they’re now expecting twins. They are one of the hottest couples in Hollywood to date and their preparations for their new babies are in full gear. Spied upon to have shelled almost $150,000 in stuff for the nursery of their coming children. They have chandeliers basinets and cribs just like the rest of us but theirs cost thousands of dollars and some change. Both were hot and in demand when they were singles and now that they’re having kids, they’re hotter than ever. Moving to France was a good idea for the world is always hungry for news of their lives as they go from day to day. Even with their unpublicized trips and strolls in the park, they still manage to get on the headlines, more power you two.
It helps to be the daughter of a platinum singer artist dad, but as young as she is she is making headlines. The young actress turned teen superstar as Hannah Montana fromthe Disney original TV series with the same name, has become the symbol of young and successful artists but they might have gone a bit too far with the Vanity Fair photo shoot with her in the nude. As an idol for kids and young girls the world over, they should’ve known better and the disturbing thing is that the whole family was there when the shoot took place, mom, dad and her siblings were all present. With her soaring popularity, the scandal was immediately dismissed as a case of wrong judgment (art????? what art. In times when child pornography is a growing concern this seems to come a bit too much). Just hope she doesn’t turn out to be another Britney or Lindsey…. Crash and burn ladies.
Another of the UK’s most talked about rebels in the music scene (sadly for all the wrong stuff ….. booze, drugs and a bit of violence thrown in for good measure) she’s a fresh face, ecclectic and sometimes wierd, but it does offer a unique view of some hidden British culture. Many Brits embrace her as a fresh and new face that is like no other. Her boyfriend and fellow artist being in court, is expected to get some jail time as their precarious lifestyle takes its toll on their personal lives as the camera’s keep shooting and the gossip keeps pouring in. She may be kinda’ weird to some but for many, her fresh style is like no other with songs titled to the tune of drugs she oh so loves.
