There are several reasons why Eastern Europe is the best place to visit for your stag weekend and lots of them involve guns, guns, and more guns!

There is a whole range of locations across Eastern Europe, offering different shooting experiences. At many of the ranges you will get the chance to feel the recoil of some pretty big guns, some of which are not allowed at ranges in the UK. With the help of professional instructors you will get the best out of learning how to hold, shoot and reload with some of the most fantastic weapons in the world.

Warsaw offers a unique stag weekend pistol shooting experience. With both indoor and outdoor ranges, you can practice hitting a variety of targets with some real mean guns. Pistols are very reliable and accurate and many of them come with high tech design and can function in the most punishing conditions. Aircrews and security officers generally use the .38 calibre pistol that comes in two and four inch barrels. There is a whole range of .38 pistols and revolvers many of them special issue for police and army officers many of which are made by Colt, Ruger and Wesson. It’s a unique opportunity to feel the experience of shooting these powerful pistols with expert guidance and knowledge from enthusiastic guides.

The AK47 is one of the most famous fully automatic weapons in the world. Not available to shoot with in the UK, you can have the chance to experience the intense power this gun throws at you. Originally designed by the Soviets, it is now widely used over the world and is a film favourite. In Budapest you get the chance to feel like Stallone or Arnie at a range with different types of targets and a chance to shoot 25 rounds with the 9mm Glock. The vz.61 Skorpion is a submachine gun, which was designed for close combat. It has an open butt stock and a magazine of 10 rounds. Used by police and counter terror units can be fired in single shots or can be changed to full automatic for real power.

Clay Pigeon Shooting is a more relaxing shooting experience. The sport is ever growing in its popularity and is a favourite for people you want to experience the power of shooting a gun at a moving target while relaxing in great surroundings and taking your time. There are many disciplines and targets available. The standard target weighs 105 grams and is around 110mm diameter. Others sizes are called the Rabbit, which is thicker than the standard, Battue, which is very thin and flat, or the Mini, which is particularly hard to shoot as it is only 60mm across and 20mm thick.

Shooting is a great way for the group to bond and bring out their competitive side. Bear in mind, it’s also good to start at the beginning of your weekend so that you can all concentrate and have a clear mind when handling such powerful weapons.
